Detroit, MI
(March 25, 2008) - The Great Lakes Regional Chapter of International
Association of Home Staging Professionals (GLRIC™) will have their
second annual “Parade of Staged Homes” on Sunday, May 4th from 1-4
pm. “The featured homes have all been Staged by chapter members and
professionally prepared for sale” says chapter President Rob Leece.
The event is a fund-raiser for the 2008 World-Wide Staging Service
Week Charity Project, and proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House
of Detroit.
“Parade of Staged Homes” will bring consumer attention to the
importance of using staging to prepare homes for a quick and
profitable sale. Accredited Staging Professionals (ASP™) have
prepared each of the houses featured in the event. It is an exciting
opportunity for discriminating buyers to view the Staged homes, and
an educational opportunity for those interested in learning about
Home Staging by an Accredited Staging Professional. Visitors will
learn how Staging can provide a cost-effective solution for selling
in this tough market. This event offers the opportunity for the
public to view and speak to several professional stagers. Homes are
being featured throughout greater Detroit and surrounding metro
areas. For more information about this exciting event, visit the
website:
www.ParadeOfStagedHomes.com.
Sponsors have made generous contributions in support of the GLRIC
Ronald McDonald House project. There is no fee to walk through these
homes, but visitors will have the opportunity to make a donation at
the homes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southeastern
Michigan. Funds generated by the event will support renovations
projects at the Ronald McDonald House in Detroit to be completed in
September by the Great Lakes Chapter members. “This year will be our
chapter’s third annual Worldwide Staging Service Week Project at the
Ronald McDonald House in Detroit, through our members, donations and
business affiliates we have completed to date over $80,000 in
renovations” says Carolyn Stieger 2007 Chapter President. Pictures
